Help App Problem since update

After doing the update on the wife's X, she is having issues with some of her downloaded apps, the apps force close frequently or parts of the app dont appear. Like one of the card games she has the app will not show the cards where they would before. Any ideas of what is causing the problem and how to remedy it? thanks
