Help App stuck behind menu

See the menu button? Behind it is an app. Im able to replace the app thats is behind the menu button, but i cant move it. so i tried replacing it with an app, then deleting that app. no good. i tried deleting cache. no good. any ideas? this really sucks. oh and i also tried changing themes. still no good.

Hmmm it seems to be an error with the dock. When you click it does it open the app drawer or the app behind it? and what rom/ mods are you using?

Ok, so then it may be a problem with the sydicate app then. Hmmm. Well I would try first doing a full wipe then reinstall it as well as gapps. I'll take a look at it and see if it's an error with the app.

well you can make a nandroid backup first. Then if that is the problem you can use appextractor to restore you data and such from the nandroid.

yea a nandroid backup makes a full system backup of everything. Before you do anything though is the launcher updated all the way?

well it's "ICS Launcher" and it's by "Team Syndicate". That's what the rom uses. If you go into your market and your apps it may need updating. Try that first.

yea you know what ima just stick with his original cm7 and then just change the theme to a ics one

lol ok whatever works for you. Basically that's all that rom is anyways, I mean its a lot more but the core of it is cm7 with a ICS launcher and theme.

Edit: Yes you can do what you said above. Get a ICS theme for cm7 and apply it with "theme chooser".

Yea. I don't know if its tha app or the .zip though. I can't test it on my MT right now, but the ICS launcher works on my MT4GS. So I don't know what exactly is the problem. Also I would recommend cm7-reloaded by Whyzor, since it's actively being developed and more up to date than TG's.

damn...so i installed cm7 again and i went to the app store to find the theme i had before so i could go into theme changer and change it but it wasnt there...im assuming it was with the .zip file...so looks like i have to go with it in order to keep the theme i want

new problem! my facebook doesnt want to sync the people or pictures with my contact book!
