Hi Guys,
I have used Titanium Backup and made 3 backups of everything on my phone (apps , data, etc) . Backups have been verified to be on my SD card . I tried restoring a particular backup but can't figure out how . It automatically restores from one of the three backups that are on the SD card. Is there a way to specify restoration from a specific backup date/time ?

So I looked at the FAQs first. Not sure if it's answering my question, so I'll ask it here.
Of course, there is the TiBkp extension that you can import, but - and I'm sure this is a very common question - how do you create a TiBkp file to move to, say, a flash drive so you can not have to take up the backup space on your device? I've run out of internal space on my phone and I used Link2SD to great success, but my Titanium Backups take up 3 GBs out of 11. And while they were a godsend to have, It kind of defeats the purpose of freeing up space just to add more data then I started with.
I read about creating this file for individual apps, but what about a batch job? Making a TiBkp file packaging all of the app+data files.

Why not just copy the TitaniumBackup folder over to your spare usb storage?
Heh... yeah, you're technically correct. The best kind of correct! I just figured if it was in a nice neat single file that could be restored with the click of the Import button, that'd be an improvement.
Also, Titanium Backup says my extSD card is write-protected, but it's not... Grrr. I tried SD Fix from NextApps and nothing. I went into RootExplorer and changed the permissions and nothing. Only Titanium.

Must be a device thing - I've had no problem writing to my external sd card with KitKat and Titanium.
@hamstrman - "extSD" can also sometimes be enumerated/reached via different paths, as in /sd0/emulated or the like.
Also, if you want a 'single file' backup, the closest thing is called a "nandroid" backup, but that's done via your flavor's bootloader (e.g. TWRP)

TWRP does not make single-file backups.

Aside from being non-trivial for a lot of users and requiring a pc, that method won't back up apps and data if you follow the instructions exactly.
Otoh, Titanium Backup *can* create a flashable zip of just apps and data, exactly the opposite of your link.
While convenient for some scenarios, I don't think that was the point of the original question ok.

A simple question I would say, but I cannot solve it: How to enter settings?? There are no menu buttons, and the hardware buttons on a Oneplus One is either the App shifter, Home or back. On the "official" video the guy presenting it presses the "three bars" button - and presto in settings. I simply cannot get there.

Thanks Slug, Meanwhile I found out that on a Oneplus One you need to longpress the hardware menu button (nowhere else that you can do that). The first app I have tried where this was neccessary, but as said this is probably one of the most non-standard android app's out there and could need a SERIOUS overhaul IMHO.
