Let's say somebody steals your smartphone.

How to block it from a remote pc? Is there an app?

Some tracker apps, like seekdroid or prey, let you change the password remotely (while also tracking the phone via gps)

I'll give it a try, though I'm looking ofr something different.

Let's have the worst case scenario: my smartphone is being stolen when activated, so the dudes don't need no password to enter my stuff, and they start having fun with it as soon as they get it.

How to "re-block" it remotely?

Wavesecure, which I use, allows remote tracking/locking/wiping of the device. There are other apps that do similar too, although I can't remember them offhand.

androidlost...just downloaded it today so i dont know the full extent of what it can do but it will erase everything if you need to, make it ring if its on silent, or locate it even if gps is off (tried this and it was eerily precise). it takes seconds to set up.

Another one to look at is Lookout. I use and like it. Does same stuff as wavesecure.

How much memory does wavesecure use for you? Lookout uses about 30megs for me.
