App to severely limit functionality

Hi all,

I'm looking for an app that will prevent the user from doing everything apart from call or text numbers which are stored in the phone book. I don't want them to have access to any apps, be able to call or text other numbers or have access to settings. The phone would need to be running Cerberus as well for me to locate them remotely.

This isn't me being an overbearing untrusting parent, it's to give to groups of kids on school trips, so only want to give them access to my number so they can't ring their mates or go on Facebook!

Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums, Dpm!
You can take a look through the Play Store for apps under "guest mode" and see if any of them fit the bill. However, having access to dial out only a certain # of phone numbers is going to be difficult to control. To be honest, I'd look for a feature phone that had GPS and hopefully there's a way of tracking the phone with its own software.

Would a dumbphone not be better and cheaper?
Although they could still ring any number........

There are feature phones with GPS capability. Also, some cheaper Nokias that run Symbian or even Asha (sp?) are pretty stripped down.

You want a kiosk app, search for them on the play store.
