Help App update issue

I have a bunch of apps that show having an update available in the Market, but when I select the app, no update is available. Is there any way to clear the update out?

When I had my BlackBerry, pulling the battery was always the first go to solution to fix any issue. This phone is so trouble-free I don't even think about rebooting to solve issues.
