Other than searching for an app we already have installed, how else do we know there is an update for certain apps??

Or install aTrackDog and let it do the hard work for you. 
i said that already.
although i must admit i dont get what atrackdog does that the "my downloads" page in the marketplace doesnt do. they both show apps that have updates. and you then have to manually click them and install them yourself. i could see if atrackdog had a button that said "update all" then i would say yes that is definitely the way to go. but as it stands they both show the same thing.
