Root app2sd and partitioning questions

Do I need to partition my memory card with any of the CM7 ports? Do I need an app2sd program, or is that built into CM7? lol I redid my phone yesterday, and its almost full again (the reason why I started doing this in the first place). Thanks

If I need to partition, then how do I do that? I saw it in the recovery, but it only went so high in terms of space (I have a 32gb card), and after asking how much space it asked for another number (which I have no clue what it was asking there, so I backed out before I destroyed something).

Thanks

You only need to make a 2GB partition on the recovery. If you want to use an ICS ROM (CM-9) then the ext.3 format the recovery makes the partition will work great.
Other than that: Make the 2GB partition in the recovery (the easiest way to go), then get Mini Tool Partitioning Wizard on the PC and reformat the partition to FAT32 (you can use FAT32 on everything but ICS, and Jellybean).
All of the CM-7 ROM's you will need to use Link2SD except for the BobZohme or the Magpie which can be found here: https://github.com/inferiorhumanorgans/android_device_lge_thunderc_common/wiki/Binary
The Link2SD guide (if you choose a different CM-7 ROM) can be found here: http://androidforums.com/optimus-v-all-things-root/364833-link2sd-you-tutorial.html
