Appbrain problem

I don't know what the issue is, but I can't get Appbrain to work right. I'm logged in to the website, I've got the Appbrain app on my phone. It all syncs to the point where I can see my installed apps on the website under "My apps". The problem is when I choose an app to try and install it. It never shows up on my phone to install it, no matter how many times I click "sync with Appbrain". My only option for the app I want to install is "cancel download", a download which never comes.

I also notice the website says I last synced 2hr 25 mins ago, when I've tried to resync many, many times since then. I've also tried uninstalling/reinstall the app. Is this app buggy or what? Very annoying.

Google disabled Fast Web Installer in the newer versions of the market. So apps will no longer go straight to your phone and install immediately.

If you select an item to install using appbrain online you can then go to the appbrain app and select sync with appbrain. After it refreshes and lists the apps you selected to install online you just hit perform installs.

That's what I'm doing. The problem is after I refresh sync the app doesn't show up on my phone to download, no matter how many times I resync. All my other apps on the phone show up, I just can't get the install of new apps to work. My phone is synced according to the website and all my installed apps are listed there. Basically, nothing happens when I click sync with appbrain.

I know Fast Web installer no longer works, it pops up a message if I try to open it saying google disabled it.

Sorry, I misread your original post (brain isn't working properly with my oldest out of school and trying to find an oatmeal cookie recipe for my youngest).

I know somebody was having a similar problem about a month ago but not sure if they ever figured it out. Maybe it has something to do with the market version that is currently on your phone-just an idea but could very well have nothing to do with your issue.
