Apple bluetooth keyboard issues

Flame me if you must but I am tring to connect an apple bluetooth keyboard to my iconia tab. I have 3.0.1 and it sees and connects to the keyboard but it just doesn't work. Anyone know any fixes? Or should I just wait till I can download 3.1 (I guess Acer pulled the update to fix some bugs cause I can't get 3.1 right now).

I have a Targus bluetooth KB that was made for the iWhatever... I thought I had to select it in settings >> lang & input, but I can seem to a reference there. There is a switch when you are using the onscreen display to use physical keyboard. When you have the the on screen KB open you should see a small KB icon next to the time display and when I open it the top option is to use the use (or not)the physical keyboard.
I am still running 3.0.1 too. Good Luck !
 
You select the bluetooth kb in the settings menu. Settings, then network connections I believe and from there you click on Bluetooth and go thru the connect dialog box. Not difficult; just make sure you have batteries in the Bluetooth kb and have it on and the follow the directions.
