Apple is replacing the pistol emoji with a water gun, and Android might too

It's been announced that Apple will be replacing the pistol emoji with a new emoji of a toy water gun.

Some are speculating that Google will follow suit with Android and that they will replace theirs as well.

Even if they don't want to, Google pretty much HAS to follow suit just so that everyone is on the same page.

Imagine a child telling his friends that he's going to someone's birthday party with the squirt gun on emoji. On Android, it would show the regular pistol.
