So my Droid X is here.
First thought: Awesome.
Second thought: Beautiful.
Third though: What the hell is up with the software? (For comparison, I am coming from the first Droid)
For Facebook, which I had to download, there's no settings to sync the phone contacts with my Facebook contacts. Also, it looks like this is done automatically when I set up the Facebook "account" (not the actual application.) In return, when I remove the Facebook account, but stay logged into the app, my contacts no longer have their Facebook pictures as the ID picture...
Next, why is Verizon forcing Backup Assistant on us? There's no way to remove it! Since I am logged into my Google account, AND my Backup Assistant account, all of my contacts are in the phone twice!
All I want is to use my Google account to manage my contacts. And I want only the Facebook app to connect my contacts, not the phone "account".
Help! (Please?
