Root "Application not responding" errors w/ root

I'm very happy with the difference I have since rooting and installing lag fix, but once in a while I now get an ANR error, with the option to Force Close or Wait. Is this a known issue? It's not always with the same app. Anything I can do to fix it?

When you say installed lagfix are.you refering to a voodoo kernel or.market lagfix

I've never had that issue afaik...,but i will say voodoo is not.something that is to be taken lightly or undertaken without a good amount of research and confidence in your ability to restore your phone via adb if neccessary

It was the only sticky so i assumed it was the best way. No major problems, and the performance is great, but there's just this annoying issue.

Thanks. So I'll need to install the dj05 custom rom first? And what do you mean by radio? I haven't read up too much about rooting, and so far I'm not running and custom roms. I just rooted via those instructions.

OK, so I got sick of waiting for Froyo after another disappointment on 1/10. I went ahead and successfully installed the DJ05 radio, ROM and the voodoo kernel. Works nicely now.

What I'd like to do next is get rid of Bing and have the search function work like it should - through Google. There used to be a post about this, but I can't find it now. Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks for all of your help, btw. My fascinate runs better than ever now.

Question about the DJ05 rom. It added the gps icon to the status bar, but it's there whether the gps is on or off. What's the point of having it there? Or is there a bug?

Its not gps....its e911 location...,when you enable gps you ll see the difference. Most themes ditch them
