Application specific notification sound

Hello
In my Samsung galaxy note 2, 4.1.1, I want notification sound - specific to application.

Like when there is missed call - one sound
when there is a Facebook Messageer - another sound
When there is a Seeking Alpha Update - another sound.....

Today, all these happens in one default or chosen sound - like - whistle

I want to change that customize for specific application, specific sound....
How do I do that... ?

Settings > Sound > Default Notifications will be the tone for anything which you do not have a custom notification sound.

Most apps will have a "Notification" option in its own settings menu which you access by pressing the menu button (left of the home hard key) within each app.

for example, in the stock messaging app - Open Messaging > Menu button > Settings > under notification settings "Select Ringtone." Now, you won't get the default notification sound when you get a text, but you will get whatever you set here, whereas all other notifications will get the default sound until you customize it.

I apologize for the long-winded answer, but I hope this helped.

If you go into many apps settings you can change the notification sound there (e.g. in messaging, goto Settings Notifications | Ringtone). Apps such as LightFlow allow you to control the notification sounds (and LED light color if you have one) i one place for many different things.
