Help applications

Hi everyone. ..my Samsung S2 crapped out on me :( and I had saved a bunch of applications on my external SD...now that I have the s3 none of the applications show on my new phone...is there anyway I can get them to show from my SD to my S3...:confused:
 
Not that I know of, I assume you mean you had them installed to your external SD card?

Best option I think you have is to load play store and goto your apps, and download what you need from there.

After that you may be able to copy app data back into the S3 from the SD card, but I wouldn't guarantee you'll get all your info from all your apps, but some may be possible.
 
Still a good tip mate.. wish id known it when i 1st got my s3 lol. I just stuck my old sd in, the phone wouldnt recognise the apps (i know why now obv') so i formatted it lol :)

Is that every app youve ever installed though mate or just the ones that were still installed on your latest device?

I would think it's all the apps you have bought/downloaded since you started using the play store. Unless you delete them from your play account, they should always be there...at least I think so :o.

When you go to "My Apps" in the Play Store, at the top is a tab for "Installed" and "All". "All had everything I've ever downloaded from the Play Store since I got my first Android phone. Bonus Tip: You can also remove obsolete apps, by clicking the minus sign on the right.

I've only have one, but I would assume so. I recently went through my All category and removed apps that were specific to my old HTC Evo devices. I'm sure my Samsung GS3 would have had a heart attack if I tried to install them :)
 
Lol i remember when i first booted up my s3. It must have downloaded every app in that list because it was downloading for hours! It must have installed every app id installed and not uninstalled on every past device :)
