Root Apps 2 EXT

Has anybody gotten it to work?
I have tried a couple of scripts but nothing is working.

you mean like to a second partion on an sd card? ive used it once to see if it works it worked with root access and the app link2sd

Well i thought that worked and I went and installed link2sd and moved everything to ext3 and then in recovery I wiped data and cache and installed miui and my ext partition was empty.

yeah you have to be careful when wiping data link2sd does move the app to the second partion but i believe the phone still retains some bytes of the app kinda like a shortcut and if that gets deleted the phone won't recognize the app from the sdcard therefore appearing the app was deleted when in fact its still there

If I remember correctly, you need it to be fat32 for link2sd.

Yeah u can't wipe data and install a new rom with apps2sd of any sort. All link2sd does its sets up a script to mount a second SD card partition up at boot(whether its ext2 ext3 ext4 or fat) and the the program goes through and moves selected apps to that partition and the links them back to /data/app. So there is still a shortcut type file in /data/app that points to the SD card partition. Also wiping data through cwm will wipe the 2nd sd partition that it mounts as sd-ext

So how come lets say on my optimus V i could wipe data and use the darktremor script and if I re flashed the script my apps would show up again but it doesn't work at all on the triumph on any rom.
