Help Apps are disappearing!

Recently, I have lost some apps. So far about 4 in total. I would use it, then the next time I go to use it,a day later, or a few hours, it appears ghosted out and if I touch it, it would say, "you do not have this app installed". I didn't move it to my memory card either. I would have to re-download it again, and my files are still there after the re-install. Does any one else have this issue? Does any one know why this is happening?

I am uploading an image so you know what I am talking about.

You need reload each app, then uninstall each app when you done and reboot your phone. You go back to android market and re-downloading them. thats what the recently I did. :D

Had to rienstall as well will have to report this to samsung. Seems to be some strange thing that happens on this model.

Yeah, it has happened again...but so far, to only 1 app....I will troubleshoot more to see if I can duplicate the problem, so when we do let Samsung know, It might help them...

Great! I too am at work. Let me know how you make out. I don't have power our cell service at home due to a nor'easter that has crippled us.

Ok I figured out the ghosting problem its when the phones are in usb mode. Simply put the phone in and out of usb mode when conected to a computer and that will fix the greyed out icons.

Were they aware of any of these issues?

you can reply or PM me...Thanks!

Yup seems to be realated to the sd card but when in usb mode it triggers it. But going in and out of usb mode seems to fix it. The main problem is the onboard memory is only 16gig so thats why so manny people use a micro sd as well.
