Apps automatically updating?

Is there a way to keep apps from automatically updating? Seems like this would take a lot of juice if you have a lot of apps. I know you can turn off sync but this stops everything. I just want to stop the apps from updating automatically. I can update the manually when I want.

Go to the play store, got settings and turn off automatic updates.

Thanks dak2, I knew it had to be something simple! Couldn't find it under settings, didn't think to look in the play store. Duh

I always had it turned off in the past. I then once a day do the update to anything that is pending and review the changes as needed.

I noticed over the last few weeks that some automatic updates were happening and was wondering why.

Checking the referenced option ... they were again enabled.

My assumption is that an update for Play Store reset the option.

It is worth checking to see if it is set the way you want.
