Help apps cant connect to internet

apps like youtube and scorecenter cant connect to the internet for me its been like this on and off since froyo any ways to fix it

I only see this happen is when I have WiFi on, and in an area where the WiFi signal is really weak and the phone seems to be constantly trying to maintain or reconnect the WiFi connection, so I end up turning off WiFi; and once the 3G signal locks everything works fine.

But then too, that occured even before the 2.2 update.
