Help Apps crashing

When I first got my Zte Warp Sequent apps like Opera Mini rarely crashed. Opera Mini is a browser that can be used on phones with specs not as good as the Sequent. It is not an app that should crash regularly on the Sequent. But now it does. I have others that do too. Also Opera Mini seems to crash more when the ram memory is being hogged by too many things. Is there a way to limit how much ram the phone uses without rooting it? If I go to developer options and limit background processes it does not seem to reduce ram usage. Is there an app that will cap the ram and keep it at 350 or so? This phone seems to be either using more ram then it used to or it cannot handle it anymore when gets too high.

Try Greenify (IF you're rooted), otherwise use a task killer/manager (I use the one embedded in AVG antivirus). There's also an option "don't keep activities" in Developer Options that kills every app u leave..

I tried opera mini with a task killer i liked opera mini for a little while but as u said it gets fraggy and fcs with high mem usage and i used a task killer but it didnt help for long cuz if i was surfing and running other tabs or d/l'ing anything it would still frag n freeze and the worst part is when your watching a movie or preloading it and surfing at the same time and an email and text comes in either together or close its over lol but i learned later lol that some of this is caused by my sd card and i purchased and started using an 8gb hd card and since then i can pretty much run whatever i normally do without issue it improves memory amd speed on the phone and i use boat browser or fox hope this will help someone
