Help Apps "disappear" Occasionally

Occasionally, on rebooting my phone, I notice that half-a-dozen or so apps have gotten "corrupted". Their icons on my desktop become 'generic" (a green droid) and the app won't start.

I can see 'remnants' of the apps when I go into Settings/Applications/Manage Applications--where they have generic "SD" icons.

I generally have to re-install these apps to get them to work again.

Any idea what's happening here?

I have the same issue, its only certain apps after I move them to the sd card. Typically if I reboot they come back, it doesnt happen all the time and Im not sure why it does but it usually fixes it.

I haven't tried rebooting a second time--but I will next time. This time not only did half-a-dozen apps 'disappear', but it messed up some other apps: sipDroid, JuiceDefender... Pain-in-the-ass!! I've had to re-install/reset several apps...

I've had it happen to me a few times. Previously, I thought I had to reinstall everything from the Market, but this morning when it happened I just rebooted the phone and everything came back.

Very annoying!

This is getting to be beyond annoying... even tho my Droid X reboots itself on average 4 times a day, these apps still do not show in the drawer... I hate this phone/android
