Help Apps downloaded, not installed but still using space

Unrooted


I tried installing the kindle app on my phone, it downloaded ok but failed on the install, my phone is now telling me it only has 2.3mb of internal memory left down from 18 something before trying to install. I have cleared the cache for market place (it was only about 50k) I now can't install anything until I work out where my16mb of memory went, anyone know?

I've got the same problem now!

Tried to install Netflix app, not enough space... now only 3ishMeg left from 20 odd!

Cleared cache, turned off phone - took battery out for ten secs - turn back on (soft reset), still nothing!

How did you sort it out?

Emm, i uninstalled the app and it freed up all the space even though it was "moved" to SD card. Not sure how to fix it without removing the app i'm afraid.

I sorted it by uninstalling a few apps to make room to actually install netflix... & then uninstall it!
It worked :-D got all the lost memory back.. yay!
