Help apps failing to update

Byrus

Newbie
I have upgraded to gingerbread but now when I try and update an app in the market place I get an error that the update failed. Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions? Thanks.

It's with all the apps. I figured out it was a memory issue. AFter the GB update I only had about 36 MB left and was getting the low memory notification. This seems strange that it was a problem as the programs being updated were only 7MB or less. So you would think that still leaves plent of memory to update, right?? Nope. I cleared the cache on a number of programs and got the memory up to 52MB. Now I can update everything. I had previously moved all the programs I could to the SD card and I really don't have that many apps but was still getting the low memory notification. I'm surprised my memory fell so much after the GB update.

Anyone have any thoughts on how to free more memory besides deleting apps and clearing cache? Thanks!
