apps going to sd card

It shouldn't be doing it by default unless the app is specifically programmed to install part of itself, after the market install, on your SD card. Big games like gun bros and dungeon defenders are examples of apps that have a small market installer, but then install most of the actual game data afterwards on the SD card.

What app(s) did you have this problem with?

Normal behavior is for the app to install to the phone, then if it is capable of moving to the SD card, a double popup will ask if you want to move it now or cancel. This popup will then be repeated every single update ( it's actually getting a bit annoying for me. )

Hi, i purchased 2 new incredibles today for my sons and neither had the new upgrade on them, my sons went on the market before the upgrade was done, downloaded angry birds, it went on sd, i then did the upgrade and tried to install angry birds rio, and it still went on sd. I also have an incredible since the day it was released and have never encountered this on mine. I went setting by setting with the three phones side by side and all are the same that I see, I must be missing something. Not sure what to do to stop this. Any ideas?

I've noticed angry birds defaults to the sd card also. You can unmount the sd card before trying to install, annoying but the only way I've seen to prevent it. But most apps default to the phone, angry birds seems to be the exception, not the rule.
