Help Apps keep auto updating

We just got Galaxy Note 3 phones. Some apps automatically update and we do not like that. How can I turn that off? I prefer to update manually.

It can be quite annoying.

Go onto the Playstore. Press your menu button on lower left. Settings will become available. You can deselect auto update from there!

Thanks, I'm glad I ran across this thread, (should be a sticky).

Auto updates of any kind suck
(u never know what they are changing so it's better to read about it first, then decide).
