Help Apps Keeps Installing/Reinstalling After I Uninstall Them

Arzok

Lurker
I Downloaded an app on my phone some time ago and ever since then i been having apps randomly install them self's onto my phone and i keep uninstalling but they just keep coming back and sometimes they say that they were installed by the system provider

I've used antivirus apps to find out what app it is but all it says is that it is multiple apps that i can't uninstall due to them supposedly was installed by the manufacturer even though they weren't, i already looked up ways to get rid of the app on the web and all i found is to root but my phone can't be rooted yet.

A factory reset will do no good if they are installing themselves as system apps.

As mentioned above, root could be a solution, but an even better solution would be to flash factory images for your device if they are available.

Can you tell us what device you have? Make/model/carrier/Android version/etc.

i have a Android N820 4.4.2 and the carrier is GiffGaff, the kernal version is 3.4.67 and the build number is X5_72KK_3GW_b15_EMMC_32_4_QHD_THX_6X_N820 20151028.103917

Worse than Amoi then. No idea who makes that one, which makes the chances of finding manufacturer's firmware for it zero. Looks like an HTC, but it's not though. Knock-off. And given what it is, it could have come with the self installing apps problem from the factory, and there's nothing you can do about it! RMA it for a refund if it's still within time, or take it up with Amazon for defective products.

Who's "Mobile Mates", is that a Hong Kong or mainland PRC vendor?
