Help apps missing

This is very irritating. There are several apps that I don't see and several that just dissapeared. I am using rooted Eris with xtrom. Any suggestions?

Dont know if this is happening to you, but I once thought I was missing a bunch of apps. Turned out my new launcher didn't have all of them in alphabetical order.
Worth another look.

Nope I visited the direct link in my browser and it doesn't show the apps

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "browser". So, can you explain this a little better?

Are you saying that you have been running xtrROM, that you installed a bunch of apps after installing the ROM, and now they have disappeared?

If so, did you turn on apps2sd at any point?

If not, then what do you mean by "disappeared"? Do you mean that they are no longer in the market? Do you mean that they are installed but that they are not showing up in the market? And, when I say "market", I am talking about the market app on the phone, not the Android market in a PC web browser.

Anyway, explain what you mean a little more completely, if you can. Thanks.

By browser I mean web browser. After using Google and clicking on the direct link it gives me the option to open with the android market app. Then it says the app is not found.

It is apps that are supposed to be there but they are not.

Is it because I have root?

Which apps are they? It may be that they will not run on Android 2.1, for example. Adobe Flash is one app that will not be available on the Eris, no matter which version you are running. The same goes for SPB Shell 3D - both require a higher-level CPU compared with the Eris.
