Help apps on sd card not accessible.

I hope someone out there may be able to offer some help/advice?
I have saved a number of apps to my sd card that I can no longer access after
the phone was last rebooted.
The image of these apps are now transparent on my screen and when I tap them the message says
"application is not installed on your phone".
The videos I have saved to the sd card work fine so I'm stuck!

If the image is transparent it is because your SD card is not mounted. Either the card failed or you need to try to mount it again.
