Apps-Phone toSD Card?

Is there a way to transfer apps from my Phone to the SD Card? I l know there have been a couple threads on this, but I'd like to make sure nothing exists now, my eris needs space

Have you tried clearing the caches in your apps? I did that yesterday and it cleared up about 20 mb of space for me

I thought about it.... but I don't feel like there is a need. I'm not a "superuser" and I don't need root for anything. And, with my luck, I would do something to totally mess up the phone, and the wife would kill (lol). I think I'm more worried about the upkeep after rooting.
