Mine does that too. Seems quite random. Advanced Task Killer takes care of it every 30 minutes for me, but it would be nice to not have them start automatically so often.
Like opens them up and runs them or they open in the background and are sitting in memory? Meaning when you turn the phone back on and unlock it is it Open to Google Maps or Music? Also would maps and music icons happen to be on your home screen? maybe you accidently hit them before turning the phone off... I do tat occasionally with the CLock and Weather widget
I highly recommend "Startup Auditor" - it generates a list of auto-starting apps on your phone and gives you the option to disable them and/or keep them disabled. It has been a life saver for my sanity and battery life!
