apps running at start up

Right after start up I looked at my task killer and see six apps running including voice dialer and footprints which I never use. Is there a way I can keep these tasks from running at start up?

no it is part of the OS for them to run. once we have root then you can delete them. I hate all those extra apps I never use but automatically start.

i was going to try startup auditor (its an app in the market) but something stopped me...give it a shot its 99 cents.
