Help Apps running when I've never used them?? Please help!

So this is my first smartphone and I'm LOST. I've never used maps, navigator, youtube, anything, yet they constantly show up as running when I've never even clicked on them. I have task killer and I'm constantly killing those apps. Does this take up data or anything? Can I make these not run? I don't get why they're running if I've never even used them before.

Apps will be "killed' and "replaced" as needed on its own

data is used everything you see 3g UP/DOWN arrows change color.

if you worried about data turn off background and auto sync
