Help apps still react like rooted

Hello, a few days ago I decided to unroot my Galaxy Grand Prime because I couldnt play Pokemon go or use snapchat, so I went to supersu and hit unroot and followed the whole procedure, however, such apps still wont let me use them, as if my phone was still rooted, I used a root verifier app and the results were: not rooted. So why do these apps react like this?

Do you still have SuperSU installed somewhere? Have you tested apps that require root to see if they are still working?

Sometimes, depending on how you rooted in the first place SuperSU can still be present on your device. When certain apps run they do a check to look for the app and the binaries and if found assumes you are rooted and will fail.

If on the other hand apps that require root are still functioning then the unroot did not work.

But I am absolutely no expert in this and other users will be able to help more than me. :p:)

The best foolproof way to completely unroot is to reflash the stock firmware.
What's your complete model number?

Exactly how did you root and/or did you install any other root apps such as a busybox?

Its possible that even if you identify the components that were left-over from rooting and un-rooting, you'll not be able to do anything about them (i.e., remove or rename) without again gaining root access...
