What stock apps can I get rid of without hurting my phone? I haven't downloaded many apps at all & probably never will so I'm wondering what can I delete & what do I have to keep?

Thanks in advance :D

inorder to get rid of most of the bloat that comes pre installed on your phone..your gonna need root..to use apps like Titanium Backup and such..user apps and apps you get from the market you can uninstall by..setting>aplications>select application>uninstall...but all the apps that are worthless and take up a ton of space, you will need root

OK, My phone is rooted too :)

here is what I have:
Books
factory test
factory test
google partner setup
keytracer
latin input method tutorial
launcher
live wallpaper picker
logsprovider
majic smoke wallpapers
maps
market feedback agent
mobile ID
pico tts
popupuireceiver
perferred activity setter
Talk
thinkfree office
tts service
you tube

That is the list of what I either don't know what it is or don't use it. The rest I use so I didn't add them to this list.

think free office is for reading/editing documents, spread sheets, powerpoints etc. u can get rid of it and get olive office from the market. does the same thing but much smaller

A fun way to learn... and inform the rest of us...
Root your phone(if u haven't), install CWM, MAKE A BACKUP of your phone, get titanium backup, ... then remove each app individually and reboot after you have removed the app... if you boot up normally and don't get any force close popups then you're all good... if the phone does not boot or messes up just go into CWM and restore your backup...

Have fun, its a great way to learn your phone

Report back on here your findings!!!

I say to do it this way because non of us know more than A few of them apps

what ya wanna do is us TB to backup each of them up..then uninstall them..if you phone starts acting up you can use the backups of the app..ill give you a link to the CTMod thread..it has a list of apps you can remove safely..there are a few obvious ones you dont wanna get rid of like stock keyboard..stock launcher and browser
