i have a proplem of wanting to keep as much ram as possible cleared up. i have go launcher ex installed. it comes with its own kill apps thing, i use it all the time.

well heres the problem. if i kill a app the dam thing will start up again even if im not using it. if i go to the running services it will be sitting in there. if i kill it then i switch over to the cached processes it will be in there. kill it then when i switch back to running, it will be in there agian.

y do apps do this and is there something i could do, change, hack, kick, through, to stop it from happening.

i know android is suppose to handle ram well but at times ive had 3 maps running in there. the main ones that do this r facebook, words with friends and maps. there r others but those r the ones i use and notice the most.

this is has been bothering me for a long time i just now got so sick of it and asked. sorry if this is a bit long but i just couldn't explain any other way. please someone explain y it dose this or how to stop it.

Turn off updates on fb and words as well as killing GPS.
This will solve fb and words and may keep maps in check.

Ya forgot to add that I only turn stuff like GPS and background data when I need it. I found a setting in both words and Facebook that "may" help, but will see. Maps will turn on even if a don't have GPS on.

I found a setting in maps that said something about only when wiring is on. So maybe I can't change it.

Edit: only took 2 mins and Facebook started up on its own again. This really pris's me off. People r wrong android dose not know how to handle ram.

Best way to fix this, Root your phone... Move everything that you can to SD Card. Just killing a app alone will not fix the issue cause all system aps plus alot of aps from the market will just reload it self. Root your phone my friend. They freeze that aps you do not want running all the time.

Ya I am rooted and all apps that I can move to SD r. I had to use titanium to move some of them like words. I move maps too one time but then it disappeared from my app list.

u also could use rom tool box first page tools scroll down till u see auto start manager and disabled any app u don't want to automatically start running like MAPS that's always running in the bck ground ;)

also to clear up some ram using root explore go to SD card then go to app manager then you'll see to options system apps and user apps that would show u everything u downloaded from the market even if u delete them along time ago there still on there u could clear them up bye delete them that would clear up some RAM check it out :)
