Apps that DO work on the Xoom

My highest recommendation right now as far as apps go is Firefox Mobile. It's worked with websites that have made the stock browser choke, and it even has extensions available.
 
Can't wait to see what Widget Locker can do for the Xoom. I hope they come up with something big, I love the new update on my Incredible.
 
Looking for an app for my Xoom that does remote desktop... tried Splashtop remote and it force closes after a few seconds. I shot them an email and they said they are working on fixing the app for tablets.

Hands down Remote Desktop is the best App period and I proved it worked on my friends Xoom by logging into my remote desktop PC. It works and it's awesome. Sold by Xtralogic in the market. It's pricey but the best is the best. Try it and you will see.
 
Engadget works wonderful. Not sure if its because I have spare parts loaded but nonetheless, sweet app. Who says you need to have tablet optimized app :-)

calendar pad?
note everything?

and... damn!... a cisco vpn client??!! xoom is useless to me until I can connect to file exchange server at work (this could tip me to pad2 for a year until this gets done)

I just received an email today from Splash Top and they have fixed the app and it works great for remote desktop on the Xoom.
 
Now i am looking for the best video player that plays .avi videos. I have downloaded Rockplayer Universal, and it works ok, but still looking for one that will work better.
 
Widget Locker works and has a new lock screen widget for battery %and charging state. Also Dolphin HD works but pinch to zoom sucks. Remote Desktop by Xtralogic works great, Twitter for Android works but very small, Beautiful widgets works awesome, Printer Share works great as well.

I use "remote vnc w/ad" by yongtao Wang. Works flawlessly with my Macs. It went from DX to Xoom with no problems. I have a MacBook hidden on top of an armour connected to speakers and use the vnc to control Mac/iTunes

Trillian works for me. The Trillian login works. The Facebook seems to work and I see online contacts. The gtalk login works but I see no contacts. My yahoo login flashes for a split second and fails to connect, Yahoo is my primary need since Yahoo Messenger won't even install on Xoom. I tried deleting and re-adding the yahoo account several times. Yahoo works for me in Trillian Mac.

edit: Hmm, Trillian / Yahoo just started working? But something I installed seems to have killed the battery charge indicator.
