Apps that DONT work on Droid

I have noticed that i cannot send an MMS on Handcent.. :(
Handcent doesn't seem to work for me, it makes my screen flicker like crazy :(

Locale also made my phone go crazy/unresponsive requiring multiple restarts until I could uninstall.

Oh wow.. Mine doesnt do that but I cannot find chompsms which is what my friends use. I really need group texting badly and group MMS. :)

Your problem and mine may be related. I installed handcent today, and it seems to work fine. The only problem is when I have it in my car holder, the home screen flickers and rotates between landscape and horizontal randomly, and the screen never goes into sleep.

is anyone getting a noise from their camera when using shopsavvy?

Yes, it's annoying, and so are its attempts to auto-focus (cause we all know how well AF works on the Droid). They should just disable that. I'd rather it be fuzzy for barcode scanning than zooming in and out so often that it's near impossible to scan things.

Shopsavvy was updated for 2.0 through market a few days ago. Works slowly to capture, but seems to work fine.

THIS. I believe it was updated on Sunday sometime.

Get back into marketplace, find it. I will tell you if there's an update to download.

I'll report that I've done a bunch of scans and it's quick!

Panda home is unstable. It keeps doing random things... blurring icons when you scroll through the home screens, rotating all by itself at random.

:( I hope they update it soon. I've only used it two days, and I am already in love with it.

PS - Anyone know how to go back to the default home without uninstalling?

I keep reading people complaining about the camera..noise, etc. My camera works great. It autofocuses in a second or two and maybe 1 out of 4 times I get the red outline. No big deal, just take your finger off the button and let it try again, almost always works then. My 12 megapixel Kodak digital takes longer to AF and I frequently have to retry a couple times with it as well.

The cardiotrainer app is not working on my motorola droid!

For some reason it crashes when i try to start my run and it tells me android ran out of memory...

helo?

Android marketplace needs to stop worring about how many apps it has in it's pool and create three pools. one each for 1.5, 1.6 and 2.0 so that it isn't so bloody rediculous. This just makes us all look stupid. When in reality it's their reputation. that is if they really want to compete with iphone. We shouldn't even need to have a thread like this. I've loaded and unloaded at least twenty apps that just didn't work and it is because we have the latest OS. Marketplace, "do something about it".

You can pretty much assume that if it does not list 2.0 compatibility then it does not have it yet. However, developers are quickly getting their apps up to date.

Welcome to the site. :)
