Apps to Avoid on your LG Motion 4G

I figured I would start this thread to try and have a central place where we can all share apps that we have installed that are malicious, battery draining, or not as advertised.

Remember this is opinion only, and everyone's experience will be different. If you want an app added to this list, reply to this thread following the same format as I have, and i will add it to the list.



App Name: My Data Manager
Developer: Mobidia Technology
Description: Drains battery. I installed this app because data usage is stated incorrectly in BobZ cm10 build, and i wanted to keep an eye on how much data I was really using. This app has 4 1/2 stars in the Play Store, which is insane to me. Once I had it on and enabled, the battery was draining so fast that plugging it in to the charger, and disabling everything with airplane mode, still wasn't enough. The battery percentage would stay exactly the same, not charging at all, and if I dared to actually use the phone, the percentage would start to drop. Needless to say, I uninstalled it, and wouldn't you know, battery started charging immediately. Not sure if this was a case of the app not playing well with the ROM or the phone, but I would recommend steering clear of this one.

That is why I downloaded it.. I had high hopes.. I'm not sure if it were the app itself or the widget, but it KILLED my battery. And it has a persistent notification in the status bar, and it can't be shut off.. No thank you.. Uninstalled. I would avoid it

Yesterday, I installed the Trust Go Mobile Anti Virus app on my LG Motion. I had charged the phone before installing the app. When I got up this morning, the battery was almost completely drained. This is the only recent app that I added to my phone. I would like to know if anyone else has had this problem. Thanks for starting this post!
