Help Apps to SD card?

I am so use to my Touch Pro 1 & 2 as far as saving everything to my SD card. Why am I not able to save apps and other documents to my sd card on android? My phone is extremely slow now, force closes often and the battery dies every 15 min. Is there any way to save apps to the sd card? Thanks to those who can help, I gladly appreciate it!

App2sd isn't officially supported unitl froyo 2.2. There is an experimental app2sd ported to 2.1 but is buggy. In order to install it you would need to root your phone which in itself will solve most of your problems, running app2sd will just cause more of the same and then some.

If your battery only lasts 15 minutes then you need to buy a new battery.

I agree with rooting to fix most of your problems.
