Help APPs to SD Card

So I wanted to move some of my apps to the internal SD card. But when I click on the app in the manage applications folder, the phone says that there is not sufficient space. I have 11 GB on the internal SD card, why is it telling me I don't have enough space?

App to SD is to the external SD card not the internal one. The apps are technically already on that card, cuz it is a 16 gig card with 2 gig set just for apps.

Thanks, I was thinking it had to be related to that. So, my apps are partitioned onto both the internal memory and internal SD card?

From what I've been told or read on various forums, the real "internal" memory is reserved for the OS and other important files. It's hidden unless you get an "explorer" or file viewer type app. What it states as "phone memory" in SD card and Phone storage is really a part of the actual internal SD, but reserved for apps only.

Tho some apps load part of their over all data to the "internal SD", the "app" you download is stored in the "phone storage" This is done mainly for really big apps, typically games like Gun Bros. Some apps are fully self contained in just that file you download.

Apps on the SD card disappear from the home screens, so I moved them all back to the phone. Anyone have a way to avoid that?

Same here.Sometimes they're there other times not and updating the apps if it's on the card says installing but just sits there and never installs.
