Help Apps will not work - could not find SDCard

Hi,

I have this problem with my rooted Galaxy Nexus. After installing a custom ROM there are now some Apps that refuse to work because they cannot find an SDCard to write data on. That is pretty much all I can say to describe the issue. I have no clue where to start whatsoever. If you were able to help me in any way at all I would be very much obliged.

Thanks so much!

Too long; won't read: How do I hard reset my Galaxy Nexus so that the contents of the SDCard folder will be cleared as well?

Wow. That was just overwhelming. I can only assume I did not specify my problem enough to deserve help. I have resigned myself to not being able to resolve the issues my beloved and I have without further bloodshed. While I have come to grips with the necessity of more extreme messures I find myself stumped as to seeing those threats of violence become reality. That simulated SDCard-thingy or whatever it is resists my every attempt at manipulation. Flashing in every shape or form did not work, resetting to factory status did not work, unrooting did not work, I am at my wits' end. I quite honestly think I executed something that should have helped so terribly wrong and was left without the proper result. So, help? Pretty please?

Hmm, I myself can't tell what's going on with your phone so how bout some more info about what's going on specifically so maybe some more knowledgeable peeps can help. What Rom are you running? What apps are giving you problems? Are these apps installed on your phone memory, or are you trying to move/run them from the sd card? Any specific error messages you keep getting?

Right now I am running CM9 Skankwich but I also tried BAMF Paradigm and Gummy with similar results.

Google Maps refused to install an update on Gummy citing not enough card space though it runs without issue on CM9 Skankwich.

Evernote installs just fine but produces this error - which I have to roughly translate since it is in German - after authentification when I try to run it:

Reading-/Writing error in database

The database file cannot be created by Evernote. If this problem occurs continuously restart your phone and make sure the SD-Card is not full.
android.database.sqlite.SQLiteCantOpenDatabaseException: unable to open database file

Navigon installs just fine aswell but when I try to download additional required data it aborts saying (also German):

The installation could not be initialised. No memory card inserted. Please insert memory card and repeat the process.

did you make a backup right after you rooted? if so restore to that.

To my eternal shame I must confess to not creating a backup right after rooting. You must understand it was quite the novel experience for me and in the heat of the moment and the throes of passion I overlooked obvious safety messures and the power both awesome and terrifying that is CWM.
