Help apps wont connect to net

Some of my application wont connect to the net ( text plus, WoH) but facebook and my emails will

What errors pop up when applications fail to connect to the Internet? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the applications (if you can)?

I unistalled it and rest the tablet still nothing it said can not connect to sever but my phone can they both running off the same router

It could be due to some settings on the apps or a firewall setting. Does this happen on another network?
