Apps you can't live without

Tetherin is considered seperate from unlimited data.

Lol thanks. I guess I'll find out when I get my bill.... Idk how they could ever track this anyways? Unless of course I'm downloading huge files which I wouldn't do because I have 10mbps @home and I just use the phone as a modem for fun.

Its simple enough to go to verizonwireless.com and look at your plan or call verizon (or what ever carrier you use). Either place will tell ya the same thing.

....back to the topic on hand.

I also like the Beautiful Widget:

Hi all,
Just wanted to bring you guys some good news on WaveSecure from tenCube. As a giveback to Android users who supported and made our ADC win possible, we are offering an unlimited free lifetime account for Android users.

Just head over to Android Market and download WaveSecure before 31st Jan 2010. You will be able to enjoy a free WaveSecure service for as long as you use that Android device.

It's our way of saying thank you. Do spread the word to other Android users so they can benefit from it too!

Also, if you can join us on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/wavesecure, it would be awesome!

Thanks,
cheewee

didnt read this entire post but there are what i like

"SMS unread count" its a widget that looks like the message icon that will put a buble number on it for text messages unread.

"Wheres My Droid" allows you to set up trigger word via text to turn on all the lights and noises on your phone incase you cant find it

"Background" has tons of backgrounds

"Home ++ beta" fastest, nicest looking home screen replacement out there.

"Dolphin Browser" a very nice web browser with gestures and multi-touch functions

"My Coupons - Droid Version" gives you coupons to popular resteraunts and chain stores.

"RealCalc Scientific Calculator" Better than the standard one.

Edit: if you are using chrome, extensions came out today. Update to beta chrome and get this extention https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/bggohjndggehghcpncgalaehihcekjgk. It will let you pop up a QR code in your browser so you can open it in your phone.

Just wanted to chip in the following:

Imusic - Its like having limewire for your phone. I love being able to download mp3s straight to my phone.

Robo Defense Force - Addictive game!

Nice find..

For those wanting to use extensions on your PC's Chrome browser, you have to update the browser to the new BETA, first. When it finishes downloading close all windows and open again. Reinstall your theme and you are good to go.

About "Documents To Go"
- good app on some devices
- poor support / customer service.
-- when a newer version of your product comes out, you are no longer supported at all. That means when:
-* your droid breaks and your insurance provides you your replacement, and you want to re-install the version you paid for and liked,
-* after Android 2.2 is released and DataViz releases a newer version
well,,,, sorry, you can't even email 'em to tell 'em that you want to restore your docs before you upgrade. You can't even tell 'em that you DO have the current version, but their system doesn't recognize your registration number for some reason.

I have a question for those that use a SMS app. is there a way to turn off the default notification. I've searched for it but can't find it.

Dolphin Browser
Trip it (keeps your itineraries)
Midomi ( Blows Shazam out of water ... you can even sing to it)
foursquare
