If you have purchased and installed an app from the Android Market and install a custom rom, will you have to repurchase the app or will Market remember that you have already purchased it? any info is great appreciated.

The market has always remembered for me. Also, the first time you go to the market after flashing the ROM, the apps you had installed should still be in the downloads section. However, if you leave and then go back without re-installing them, they won't be there. I think it may have to do with them still being in the market's cache (when you clear cache, you clear the phone's cache and not a specific app's), but I could be wrong about that.
your app purchases are save to your google account, not your phone. doesn't matter what rom/phone/etc you have, if your phone has your gmail account as the primary, you purchasea apps will be listed in the "downloads" section of the markety app. if they are not installed it will say "purchased" on the right side of the app box.
