alright everyone, im back, but ROOTED now!!!!! thanks to METLCAT. he is the man!!!! anyway, trying to get my apps back, backing them up wasnt a big deal to me, its not like i have a ton. but when i go to app market on phone, its not finding the apps i had, on the computer it does, so i try to get them on my computer, but it will not let me install them. please choose device and there is nothing in the drop down box. i went to manage account or something and it said i had an eris which i do. i updated it. and still is not finding my phone. UGH please help!!!

ok so now on the market on the computer, it says im not using a droid device. wtf is going on. very frustrated at this point!!! bc i just tonight rooted my eris, and its connected through google, just dont know where to turn from here.

Go into the market on the phone and install any old app that you see. It doesn't need to be anything that you had before; you can uninstall it later on. Sometimes you need to install an app for the market to register your phone on your account.
