Apps2SD but using memory card storing for games?

now yes Im aware that if we create a 1GB ext partition on the memory card for Apps2SD to work is it possible to actually use the non ext partion for apps occasionally?

What im asking is some games when they install and download their extras can be VERY large say for example asphalt 5 etc can be like 90+ MBs....can I install it and push it to SD and it will work correctly or will it install it partly to the internal or ext partition part?

90MB out of 1GB is not s lot really.

I wouldn't recommend ot, but you can try it.

Ea games put the extra on fat anyway. Maybe asphalt does the same

see thats what I was thinking, so im hoping the gameloft is the same too...

and yea 90mb outta 1GB isnt much...but I already lost around 70mb when I installed leedroid 2.3c ROM on my phone...so given my app usage already im down to something like 870mb...so was just curious about the large game usage...

its also cos im tempted by dungeon...something or other...I cant remember what its called...but the VERY large RPG game that says its like 600MB after install..

Well that would definitely have to be using SD card.

yea thats what I thought...

I just wanted to make 100% sure, as I read enough to create the partition and with using apps2d+, i.e NOT transferring stuff to SD otherwise its pointless...seriously how do some people miss that? lol

but I had never seen anyone mention anything bout the LARGE apps such as the big games etc...I mean I dont know much when it comes to the real mechanics like fat 32 and ext types etc...so was concerned when obviously the larger partition on the memory card is fat 32 and the smaller one is ext2 (or 3...cant remember)...was just wondering if the different types would cause app errors or something...or are they BOTH fat32...and im just nit picking? lol :D

also, other than using titanium backup pro (which came with leedroid 2.3b) is there another better way to see HOW big the partition is on the phone via I dunno a widget or something? just would be really handy..

There's an app called DiskUsage on the Android Market which shows you a graph of disk space usage on both the internal storage and SD Card
