Root Apps2SD - confused

so thats 54MB for 30 Apps? 1.8MB per app

I use 82MB for 102 apps. 0.8MB per app

Maybe my apps are much smaller than yours. Just run the a2sd cachesd command again for me please, just to see if it makes any difference.

Sure man.

No difference :/

Off topic question; do you need S-off if you want to replace boot animations? I thought you could just replace the file in your root?

It depends. Some roms are configured to allow you to drop a boot animation into data/local.

Others are in system/media or maybe system/customize/resource. You can always adb push whilst mounted in recovery if s-on for the system/ locations though. You dont NEED to be s-off. Just means you cant do it whilst android is running.

So, can't do it whilst running GingerVillain? Or does it work with that ROM?

EDIT:
Am I being stupid? You DO need to keep apps on the internal memory, not the SD card for Dark Tremor to work, right?

sorry my answer above is regarding boot animations.

a2sd, must keep apps on internel not external as this refers to the FAT partition NOT ext which a2sd automatically manages for you.

Have a read of the apps2sd+ (same thing) FAQ in my sig for clarification
