Root Apps2SD on DeFrost ROM

adrayton

Newbie
I've been running the DeFrost FroYo ROMs for a while now but still keep running out of space using the native Apps2SD method.

What's the easiest way to use the unofficial method from where I'm at now?

Can I partition my SD card using ROM Manager and I'm good to go?

And if I do does that wipe everything on my card?

If I do a titanium backup and then restore my apps will they install on the SD card?

Thanks for any help.

Yeah, that should work.

And if I do does that wipe everything on my card?
Yep, but you can just copy the contents to your PC and move it back after. It doesn't wipe your phone so your apps will still be installed.

I think it will move them automatically from the phone to the SD card as soon as you give it a correctly formated card. Someone else will need to confirm that though.

Thanks for that.

I'm thinking of doing a clean install of the latest build and then restoring my apps so could anyone confirm if they will restore to the SD card or not?

Thanks again!!!!

In that case I am pretty certain (but not absolutely, having never done it) that they'll be restored to your SD card.
