How do i use the apps2sd on the liquidsense 2.1. ROM?

You will need too Partition your SD Card.....Requirment for 2.1 - 2.2 is already set up for it.

I thought that was only available on Froyo 2.2

No - You CAN do it on 2.1 if the ROM allows -
But you need to partition your SD Card (which wipes it out completly)
