Root apps2sd question

I've copied everything from my SD card to my PC and will make an ext partition with Rom Manager.

I tried it with an emprty card and it worked.

Now here's the stupid question: If I want my apps back, do I need to reinstall them or can I just move all the data back to my SD card? if so, do I just put them in the root?

Just take a titanium backup then do a factory reset, do the card (preferably not in rom manager) and then do a titanium restore.

Have you got an a2sd+ rom though? If not, you need to backup, partition card, wuipe and flash rom, then restore.

Ok I've partitioned the SD card. Now reinstalling everything with titanium. Will it automatically move the app?

I know you need terminal emulator to move the Dalvik cache

LOL. Yesterday I've got a new 16GB card, so copied the content from my old card on it, put it on the phone, and was wondering where the F*** are my apps???

Then I realized that they were on ext partition, and I just copied only the data from FAT32... :D
I felt a complete noob at that moment... :o

A simple nandroid restore put everything back as it was. Thanks to the frequent update of GV ROM, I had a nandroid backup just a few days ago...

Anyway, now enjoying my new 16GB class 6 card (according to SD Tools, 9.2MB WS, 22.7MB RS).
